Oaklands is an eighteenth century converted barn which is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Wycoller Country Park, Which is considered one of the prettiest Country Parks in Lancashire.
The area is famous for it's association with the Bronte sisters who are referred to in many of the nearby landmarks in book such as '' Wuthering Heights'' and '' Jane Eyre ''. Wycoller Hall is thought to be '' Ferndean Manor '' in Charlotte Brontes novel '' Jane Eyre''.
